Technology today may have influenced society for a better life but the effect on our own language skills has not yet been proven. Although technology can make communication faster, it also plays a big impact on the language evolution in our new generation. On the other hand, students can become careless about their formal work by using informal expressions and they have become careless about grammar and spelling. As a matter of fact, texting has become a popular part of our culture, especially among students and teenagers in general. Language is changing through the technology of Television, Video Games, and Internet (social networking). Technological terms are now common in high speed communication.
